1. Will GoBinder work on Windows 98 or 2000? GoBinder requires a version of Windows XP to run. In fact, the install for GoBinder checks to make sure that Windows XP is present at the beginning of the install process.
2. How much does GoBinder cost? Retail price for GoBinder is $99.95 or $49.95 for students.
3. What is GoBinder's Satisfaction Money Back Guarantee? The purchase of GoBinder comes with a 30 day money back guarantee. If, within 30 days of purchase of GoBinder, you are unsatisfied with the software for any reason, you can return it by contacting our customer service department with your receipt and order number, removing the software from your computer, and destroying any record of the license key.

5. Can I run GoBinder 2005 after upgrading to GoBinder 2006? Yes, GoBinder 2005 and GoBinder 2006 can be installed simultaneously and will run independently. If you chose to uninstall GoBinder 2005 after upgrading to GoBinder 2006, you can get the GoBinder 2005 installation file here. The GoBinder 2005 database will still be intact, so all you need to do is reinstall. Remember that whichever version you have open, or whichever version you open first after printing will receive documents being printed to digital paper.
6. Is there a Mac version of GoBinder? GoBinder currently works on Windows XP. If you are a Mac user, please visit our feedback page and let us know.
7. Is my database safe to put all my stuff in it? Yes. GoBinder's database is optimized for digital ink, text, and images. The database underneath GoBinder has been used by thousands of other users. It's designed to grow to support gigabytes of data -- that's a lot of stuff. The safety of your information is of paramount importance to Agilix.
8. Does GoBinder's calendar sync with Palm and PocketPCs? GoBinder currently syncs with Palm and Microsoft Outlook. GoBinder does not have a direct sync with the PocketPC at this time; however, those who use a PocketPC running Outlook can sync their events, tasks, and contacts through the Outlook sync. This feature was added in GoBinder 2005.
9. Can I sync GoBinder's calendar with Microsoft Outlook? Yes. GoBinder can sync with Outlook in one-way or bi-directional manners. This was a new feature in GoBinder 2005.
10. Can I import a calendar from another system? Yes. You can import calendar events, tasks, and contacts from Palm and Microsoft Outlook. You can also import your syllabus, assignments, course materials, and contacts from Blackboard to GoBinder through the Agilix Mobilizer for Blackboard. The Agilix Mobilizer for Blackboard requires campus support.
11. Can I have more than one GoBinder database? Sure thing. Just go to the File menu, chose New, select a Blank or GoBinder "template" database, give your new database a name and location, and you're off to the races. By the way, GoBinder always opens the database that was opened last when you close down.
12. How big does my database get when I put everything in it? Your database is designed to grow. Depending on what you're adding through the GoBinder printer, the size of the pages you print can be small or quite large--most of this is due to the type of file you're printing. Typically the size is quite small. One of the nice things about GoBinder's database is everything is compressed into a smaller package, so things are always being optimized for space.
13. Are there any updates for GoBinder? How do I find out? GoBinder includes an automatic update system that lets you know when a newer version of GoBinder is available. If you're not certain of the version or update you have, you can always "Check For Updates" from the Help menu in GoBinder. This will send a request to our update system to let you know if you have the latest and greatest.
14. How do I backup my database? GoBinder has an automated back-up system that is set to remind you to back-up from time to time. The easiest way to configure this is go to the File menu and select the Backup item. Here is where you set the interval for backups. We recommend that you backup weekly to a safe location. If you have a CD-RW drive, it's best to make a backup to a CD-R every so often so you always have a secure and remote backup of your notes.
15. Can I use GoBinder on more than one computer? The GoBinder license agreement allows you to use GoBinder on two (2) unique computers that you may use. However, the license also specifies that you may not use the machines at the same time. For additional licenses, please visit the Buy section of the GoBinder web site.
16. What does optimizing a database do? Optimizing a GoBinder database re-indexes and compresses your database for optimal performance. Depending on the size of your database, your time to optimize will vary--the bigger the longer it takes.
17. What's different about GoBinder on a Tablet PC? When you use GoBinder on a Tablet PC, you get the added benefit of digital ink. Digital ink is a special file type that is only available on a Tablet. Digital ink is recognized by a special engine that lets GoBinder search for words and convert your handwriting to text. Without a Tablet PC, you can not convert ink to text.
18. GoBinder crashed and prompts me to send an email message? Why? By all means, we apologize for any crash you may encounter. However, we want to make sure we catch all these crashes so we can analyze them, and as needed, send out a fix in a future release. Please send the information on to us so we can take a look at it.
19. I forgot my license key for GoBinder. What do I do? If you previously purchased GoBinder and have forgotten or misplaced your license key, you will need to contact our support team at support@agilix.com . Send a message with your name and email address so we can confirm your purchase and look up your unique license key.
20. Do I have to be a student to use GoBinder? No. People have found many uses for the GoBinder software. We're happy to hear about new uses you discover for GoBinder.
21. Can I use GoBinder after graduation? Sure. In fact, we expect that you'll want to use GoBinder a long time into the future. GoBinder becomes your main tool to organize your important information.
